these are some very serious images drawn by my dad during a very serious drawing contest at the pancake house last summer. please note how angry that goat looks. he is so very angry. or sad? the upside down birdcage with fleas jumping off of it is actually an igloo (i think).

got some nice india inks for christmas. all different colors. they are a little bit more runny than i am used to. i normally use just black speedball ink and these are liquitex. the colors are really nice, though. i used to do lots of watercolor with my drawings, but i treated it more like ink or just didn't use enough water so it would be more like a matte or thick paint, so i think these inks were just what i was looking for all along.
